PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect the communication failure information of a repeater base station from a remote point without connecting cables to the station when a line disturbance occurs. SOLUTION: A failure information collecting system is provided with a memory 370 which stores communication failure information, a direct communication function section 382 which communicates with a maintenance terminal 100 by direct communication, and a failure information acquiring function section 383 which fetches the failure information stored in the memory 370. The collecting system is also provided with a sending-out function section 384 which sends out the failure information to the terminal 100, and a correcting function section 385 which corrects data errors by using the PIAFS procedure, etc., when the sending-out function section 384 sends out the failure information. Consequently, even when failure occurs between the repeater base station 300 and a base station 400 at a connecting destination, the failure information at the repeater station 300 can be collected easily. |
