PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform an addressee that a postal matter will be delivered to the addressee without any labor at a timing maximally close to the timing of the delivery of the postal matter. SOLUTION: A printed matter carrying a predetermined information printed by a printing part 30 is enclosed and sealed in an envelope by an enclosing and sealing part 41. On the sealed postal matter enclosing the printed matter, identification information printed on the postal matter is read by an information reading part 42. In an information collation part 43, an electronic mail address related to the identification information read by the information reading part 42 is extracted from a customer database 10, and then, using the electronic mail address extracted from the customer database by the information collation part 43 as an address, an electronic mail describing the fact of the delivery of the postal matter is formed. The electronic mail is transmitted to a user terminal as the addressee of the postal matter via a communication part 47. |
