TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER FOR WIDE-BAND COLOR PICTURE SIGNAL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of signal amplitude limit at a transmitter side of a motion picture signal transmitted through a narrow band by a field off-set sub-sampling and deterioration in reproduction image quality attended with signal processing of interpolated samples at a receiver side. SOLUTION: The signal processing at a transmitter side and a receiver side is implemented between image signals of odd and even number fields in an input and an output of either of field memories 44-1, 44-2 and 48-1, 48-2 respectively connected in cascade for sequentially storing progressive field image signals in the field period and the signal processing is completed in the unit of frames corresponding to each other.
