PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler in which the housing can be protected against damage by suppressing concentration of stress at the time of fixing or removing a fan motor. SOLUTION: The cooler comprises a heat sink 52, a fan motor 54 for cooling the heat sink 52, and means 56 for fixing the fan motor 54 removably to the heat sink 52. The fixing means 56 comprises the engaging protrusion 122 and engaging claw part 124 of supporting wall parts 60 and 62 on the heat sink 52 side, and the pivot protrusion 126 and open/close claw part 128 of sidewall parts 78 and 80 on the motor housing 68 side. The fan housing 68 is provided with a cut between a part corresponding to the pivot protrusion 126 and the open/close claw part 128 and other parts and the cut extends arcuately from the sidewall part to the housing body section at the part corresponding to the pivot protrusion 126 and the open/close claw part 128. |
