PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of a digital camera that can easily detect a color temperature associated with an object even when a charge coupling device of a color single board type sums pixels. SOLUTION: The digital camera has a color single board type CCD 303, in which R, G, B pixels are arranged in a pixel matrix PM of the Bayer system. In this digital camera, when the luminance of an object is low at live view imaging, pixel arrays Ada, Adb sum outputs by 4 pixels, and the sum reflects on display. In the pixel summation, although color mixtures of R, G and B, G are produced, the color temperature of the light source is detected by using an output X of the pixel array ADa and an output Y of the pixel array ADb. That is, processing of estimating the light source is conducted according to a ratio of (X-Y) to (X+Y). Thus, even when pixels are summed by the color single board CCD, the color temperature associated with the object can easily be detected. |
