PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new hue converter. SOLUTION: The hue converter includes; a hue decision means that decides the hue of input RGB signals by each of RGB components; an after hue conversion component calculation means that calculates each of the R, G, B components after hue conversion on the basis of the hue decided by the hue decision means, a predetermined hue change direction and a predetermined hue change; and a color signal conversion means that converts the input signal so that the output RGB signal is equal to each of the R, G, B components after hue conversion calculated by the after hue conversion component calculation means.
