PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of restrictions when the application uses the function possessed by computer peripheral equipment and a device driver. SOLUTION: This information processing system is composed of the computer peripheral equipment and an information processor for executing information communication with the computer peripheral equipment. A device driver part for controlling the peripheral equipment and an application executing part for executing the application which simultaneously uses the peripheral equipment and the device driver part have an equipment control means in common for controlling the peripheral equipment.
