PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that is equipped with an oil heater for heating silicone oil being a release agent for a heat roller and a transfer material and a thermistor for detecting the temperature of the silicone oil so as to heat the silicone oil, and that is constituted to detect the residual amount of silicone oil without using an oil liquid level sensor for detecting the residual amount of the silicone oil. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, a warning is issued by determining that the oil residual amount is a little when the temperature of an oil temperature detection means does not rise even when a prescribed time elapses after turning on an oil heating heater. |
