<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for medical examination information retrieval capable of quickly and accurately and easily acquiring medical examination information distributed in a plurality of medical institutions, and minimizing any risk on security. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a plurality of medical information servers set in each medical examination place, an index server for storing the common ID numbers of all patients and patient identification information and the IP addresses of the medical information servers associated with them as electronic information, and a medical examination information request computer for requesting the reception of the medical information of a specific patient through the index server. The index server is provided with a retrieving means for extracting the patient identification information and the IP address of the medical information server by retrieving the common ID number, a first transmission managing means for making the index server transmit the medical examination information, and a second transmission managing means for transmitting the medical examination information from the index server to the medical examination information request computer.</p> |
