PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information equipment system to which an input device for operating the main body of an information equipment device can be connected arbitrarily and intuitively to improve the operability. SOLUTION: The information equipment system is composed of the main body of information equipment device 100 of a personal computer of the like, a keyboard 200 connected, by wire, to the main body of the information equipment device 100, and a remote control device 300 that outputs operation information by radio for operating the main body of the information equipment device 100. The keyboard 200 is composed of respective keys 220, a radio reception part 235 that performs radio communications with the remote control device 300, an ID storage part 215 that stores an ID code for identifying the remote control device, and a control unit 210 that compares a signal outputted from the radio reception part 235 with the ID of the ID storage part 215, and exercises control for outputting the operation information from the remote control device having an ID matching with a registered ID through an interface 230 to the information equipment device 100.
