PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device for displaying information of a mobile phone or the like, that can conveniently display information desirably displayed independently of opening/closing of the device. SOLUTION: The mobile phone 1 has an upper body 10, a lower body 20, a hinge 30 joining the upper main body 10 to the lower body 20, and a sub display section 44 placed to a lower body side member 34 of the hinge 30, when the upper body 10 is turned around the hinge 30, the lower body 20 will not move. Then a user can view display of the sub display section 44 because the sub display section 44 placed on the lower body side member 34 of the hinge 30 keeps the same position independently of the turning of the upper body around the hinge 30. Then having only to display information desirably displayed on the sub display section 44 can conveniently display the information desirably displayed independently of opening/closing of the mobile phone 1.
