BLANK MADE OF ALUMINUM ALLOY FOR MAGNETIC DISK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blank made of aluminum alloy for a magnetic disk by which a magnetic head can be stably floated at extremely low height and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: Blank raw plates 1 made of aluminum alloy whose pressing work is acquired are laminated while spacers 2 having <=5μm flatness are put therebetween at intervals of 10-40 mm. The blank raw plates 1 are annealed while 6.86-68.6 N/cm<2> load is applied to the blank raw plates 1 in the laminated direction thereof.
