摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a crosstalk preventing function by compensating the variance in charging rate of pixel voltages to have the same charging rate of pixel voltages even in the case that charging rates of pixel voltages are varied due to distortion of a common electrode voltage. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal capacitor which is driven by the difference voltage between a picture signal applied through one end and the common electrode voltage applied through the other end and a storage capacitor which applies the picture signal stored with a switching element off to the liquid crystal capacitor through one end. In the liquid crystal display device, a distortion sensing part senses a distortion component of the common electrode voltage applied to the other end of the liquid crystal capacitor and outputs a common electrode distortion voltage, and an offsetting voltage generation part raises the charging rate of the storage capacitor on the basis of the common electrode distortion voltage and outputs a voltage for offsetting excessive charging to the other end of the storage capacitor.
