PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor or a machine for electrical driving for use in electric vehicles or hybrid vehicles. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a rotor for electric traction motor includes a step in which a cavity is formed in the rotor; a step in which magnetic material is injected into part of the cavity; a step in which non-magnetic material is injected into the part of the cavity; and a step in which the magnetic material is magnetized thereafter. The rotor includes permanent magnets, and the permanent magnets may be internal permanent magnets. Further, the permanent magnets may be arrays of sintered magnets.
