PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail receiver capable of reading an electronic mail by a plurality of kinds of methods for allowing a user to read the electronic mail by a proper method corresponding to the user without selecting any reading method by himself or herself each time reading the electronic mail. SOLUTION: A condition information setting part 21 sets various condition information related with the output of an electronic mail, and makes an EEPROM 2a store the condition information. The condition information is used for selecting an electronic mail outputting method, or for deciding its output period or the like based on the contents of the electronic mail, and a user is able to arbitrarily set the condition information according to the operation of an operation input part 4. Then, an output condition judging part 22 collates the electronic mail received by a mail receiving part 23 with the condition information, and selects the outputting method corresponding to the condition information. For example, at the time of setting the condition information, 'a mail to the destination of the father is printing out' at home, when the mail to the destination of the father is received, a printer 13 is operated so that the mail can be printed out. |
