PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact member which ensures a contact area with an electrode necessary for current flow even in the case of intervening of foreign material and hardly causes sticking or the like by degradation with lapse of time regardless of long time use. SOLUTION: This contact member 1 is formed by laminating a silicone rubber and a conductive material. A hard resin layer 6 is formed on a surface of the silicone rubber layer 4, and an elastically deformable soft metal foil layer 8 is provided on the hard resin layer 6 through an adhesive layer.
