PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify user's operation when taking in an image from an image input device. SOLUTION: When a user selects the taking-in of an image stored in a digital camera 310 from a dialog 90 displayed on a display 302, a dialog 100 for selecting the type of the image taken in is displayed to allow the user to select the type of the image taken in. After the taking in the image, a dialog 110 for selecting a processing method of the taken-in image is displayed to allow the user to select a further processing content. Thereby, the user becomes easily executable the operation for processing the image stored in the digital camera 310.
