PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loudspeaker for use in various sorts of acoustic devices which can increase a maximum reproducing sound pressure by improving auditive distortion while keeping a massive sense of a low frequency sound in the loudspeaker. SOLUTION: In the loudspeaker, the corrugate shape of a damper 10 on an inner peripheral side of the loudspeaker is made larger than that on its outer peripheral side (to keep a relation of a>-g>h). Consequently, the flexibility of the damper 10 on its inner peripheral side is increased so that, in a small amplitude range, the corrugate shape of the inner peripheral side can be easily displaced and a low frequency sound can be increased with less distortion. In a large amplitude range, the displacement is shifted to the corrugate shape of the outer peripheral side so that movement can be gradually suppressed to prevent abnormal operation. As a result, there is provided an excellent loudspeaker which can produce a rich massive sense of a low frequency sound, can avoid sound destruction, and can suppress even a clipping sound in an amplitude control mode.
