PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a package for containing an electronic part decreased in size, there is no space to form a recognition mark, and it is difficult to accurately load the electronic part by reading the recognition mark. SOLUTION: A package for containing an electronic part consists of an insulation substrate 1 formed of a plate-form body approximately in a square shape, and in which a plurality of notched parts 4a and 4b having a side covered by a conductor 5 for connecting an external part are formed in a region extending from an upper surface to an under surface; and a cover body mounted on the upper surface of the insulation substrate 1 in a manner to cover the electronic part loaded on a loading part 2. The notched parts 4a and 4b are formed such that the size and the shape of only the notched part 4b in the given one spot of the insulation substrate 1 are different from those of the other notch 4a. The notched part 4b having the size or the shape different from those of other notched part 4a can be utilized as the recognition mark to recognize the direction of the insulation substrate 1, and the electronic part can be accurately loaded without making a mistake in the direction of the electronic part.
