RESPONSE IMPROVING STRUCTURE FOR CONTINUOUS VARIABLE VALVE TIMING DEVICE OF ENGINE

PURPOSE: A response improving structure is provided to achieve improved performance and fuel efficiency of engine by allowing for utilization of continuous variable valve timing(CVVT) device in a wide area of engine operation. CONSTITUTION: A response improving structure comprises a rotating force applying unit for constantly applying rotating force in the direction of advancing a rotor(106-1) of a valve timing controller(106). The rotating force apply unit is constituted by a torsion spring(10) mounted between the rotor and a case unit(106-2) of the valve timing controller. The torsion spring has one end(10-2) wound into coils(10-1) and connected to the case unit of the valve timing controller and the other end(10-3) connected to the rotor of the valve timing controller.
