PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element and its manufacturing method which can prevent damages to organic layers 3 to 6 due to hardening of UV- hardened resin 8, prevent dark spots and improve reliability, with one having an element structure in which a positive electrode 2, organic layers 3 to 6 and a negative electrode 7 are formed on a substrate 1 covered with the UV- hardened resin layer 8. SOLUTION: Rate of hardening of a UV-hardened resin layer 8 is made lower as it gets nearer to the side of organic layers 3 to 6, and the difference in the rate of hardening inside the UV-hardened resin layer 8 is 20% or more. |
