PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which selection of a processing mode and changing of the set value of a selected processing mode can easily be performed. SOLUTION: The left and right arrow keys 20x and 20y of a cross key 20a provided at an operation panel select a processing mode in the case of image forming, and upper and lower arrow keys 20u and 20v change the set value of a set processing mode. As the processing mode, resolution, a document size and a reduction ratio are set. When a copy key is depressed for image forming processing, 'Scan Ready' is displayed on a display screen 19a. Next, by operating the left and right arrow keys 20x and 20y to select the processing mode to set the resolution. Continually, the upper and lower arrow keys 20u and 20v are operated to select and display the set value 200 dpi. In this case, a symbol → is added to a selected item (resolution in this case). |
