PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of fault isolation performed for detecting an error and specifying the cause of the error at the time of transfer of data being difficult in the conventional phased array antenna system, when phase shifting data are not set property due to an opened or short-circuited signal line. SOLUTION: The error detection and fault isolation can be performed easily, by inputting the address signal corresponding to an elemental antenna to be operated by making element antennas hold serial numbers by using FPGA to the control circuits of the elemental antennas, and only when the correlation between the address signal inputted to the elemental antenna and the serial number held by means of the elemental antenna match with each other, causing the control circuit of the elemental antenna to set the phase shifting data and, at the same time, can an acknowledge signal be generated.
