PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming device realizing high image quality by preventing trouble such as the thinning of a horizontal line and the void of a trailing edge from occurring and further drastically improving simultaneous developing and cleaning performance even in the case of the compact developing device and the compact image forming device. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, the diameter of carrier is <=50 μm, the diameter of toner is <=9 μm, the sphericity of the toner is 0.93 to 1.00, DSD is 0.2 to 0.6 mm, and the bristle height of a developing pole is 0.5 to 1.5 mm, and then specified relation is kept between the particle size of the carrier and the DSD, and the bristle height of the developing pole and the DSD. |
