PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superimposing system for a digital video signal with high security. SOLUTION: The superimposing apparatus is characterized in that it comprises; a video signal transmission line 7 for transmitting a digital video signal stream; a display signal generating circuit 11 for generating digital graphic data indicative of contents of prescribed information; a composite device 8 for adding the digital graphic data to digital video data of the digital video signal stream sent through the video signal transmission line 1 to composite the graphic data on a display image of the digital video data; a digital video analog conversion circuit 9 for converting the digital video data outputted from the composite device 8 into an analog video signal; and a packaging member for sealing the video signal transmission line 1, the display signal generating circuit 11, the composite device 8 and the digital video analog conversion circuit 9.
