PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional push button switch device wherein a push button as a movable body is retained by a single coil spring so as to provide the constantly fixed touch of the push button and lack in the game property. SOLUTION: This push button switch device for the game machine has the push button comprising the movable body retained via elastic means, one- directionally moved by application of a pushing force, and returned to its original position by removing the pushing force and sends a signal to the game machine by operating the push button. The push button 1 is so constituted that the movable body is divided into an inside movable body 2 and an outside movable body 3 disposed outside the inside movable body 2, and the respective movable bodies 2 and 3 are retained by elastic means (coil springs 8 and 9) having different elastic forces.
