PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device suitable for a note type personal computer, which is constituted to be extremely thin by arranging the weight balances of focus coils and tracking coils to be stabilized for preventing the structural resonance of a lens holder and also allowing the tilt servo. SOLUTION: This optical pickup device is arranged so that the lens holder holding an objective lens therein is driven and controlled by a moving coil method to adjust the position of a light beam irradiating the optical disk by displacing the above objective lens, and the focus coils 7a, 7b are arranged and fixed so that a pair of main bodies of the coils becomes symmetric around the objective lens 4 arranged at a center of the lens holder 1, and further an objective lens driving part is constituted by arranging two pairs of tracking coils 8a, 8b and 8c, 8d at both ends of each focus coil.
