PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents transmission control method, a contents reception control method and contents transmission controller, a contents reception controller and contents transmission control program, and a contents reception control program for flexibly providing contents in matching with the preference of a viewer so as to allow the viewer to easily control the contents. SOLUTION: The contents transmission controller 1 includes; a coding means 5 for coding contents and exhibition control information capable of exhibiting interlocking between meta-data being data associated with the contents and the contents; a multiplexing means 7 for multiplexing the contents, the meta-data and the exhibition control information and the contents coded by the coding means into multiplexed contents; a multiplexed contents information means 9 for transmitting the multiplexed contents, and the contents reception controller includes; a multiplexed contents reception means; a multiplexed contents separation means; a switching transmission means; and a decoding output means.
