PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low profile of a disc motor which has an automatic balancer. SOLUTION: A rotor yoke 63 has an upper cylinder part 63b whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of a lower cylinder part 63a to which an annular magnet 64 is fixed. An annular balancer cover 71 is attached to the rotor yoke 63 by being fitted with the outer circumference of the upper cylinder part 63b. An automatic balancer 70 overlaps a rotor 60 coaxially with an axis X62 of a spindle 62 as a center, so that a low profile of a motor 50 can be obtained.
