PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology, in which a digital camera communicable with a printer can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 and a printer 2 are integrally coupled by connection parts 13 and 23. At the same time, various kinds of communication are enabled through the connection parts 13 and 23. The digital camera 13 is not provided with an incorporated flash but the printer 2 is provided with an incorporated flash 22. When flash photographing is required, a flash emitting signal is transmitted from the digital camera 1 to the printer 2 and based on this flash emitting signal, the printer 2 emits the incorporated flash 22 toward an object. Thus, it is not necessary for the digital camera 1 to incorporate the flash and the digital camera can be miniaturized and made light in weight.
