PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic noise reducing device which reduces lateral vortex generation generating noise by generating strong longitudinal vortexes. SOLUTION: This fluid dynamic noise reducing device is characterized by that a longitudinal vortex generating device reduces the fluid dynamic noise by suppressing lateral vortex generation generating the fluid dynamic noise so a to reduce the fluid dynamic noise generated by struts, etc., in an air flow. Consequently, strong longitudinal vortexes which can not be generated by a conventional vortex generating device can be generated to suppress the lateral vortex generation generating the fluid dynamic noise with the longitudinal vortexes, thereby reducing the fluid dynamic noise. Further, the longitudinal vortex generating device is provided to a sound source itself and a soundproofing and sound absorbing mechanism, etc., needed to reduce the fluid dynamic noise is not necessary, thereby greatly reducing the cost for fluid dynamic noise reduction.
