DATA CONVERTER, AND DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY SYSTEM EMPLOYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system that can simply display information with respect to a microcomputer application product while suppressing increase in the cost. SOLUTION: The display system comprises a refrigerator 10, a mobile phone 20 and a data converter 30 interconnecting them. The data converter 30 receives an electric signal with a first protocol denoting information on the refrigerator 10 from the refrigerator 10, converts the signal into an electric signal with a second protocol and outputs the signal to the mobile phone 20. The mobile phone 20 receives the information associated with the refrigerator 10 converted into the electric signal with the second protocol and displays the information on a display section 21. Thus, a user uses the existing inexpensive mobile phone 20 with a display function to suppress cost increase and to simply display the information associated with the refrigerator 10.
