摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting element with high outside luminous efficiency by having leakage light (leakywave) generated by forming an optical crystalline concavo-convex structure on a transparent substrate. SOLUTION: The organic light emitting element is provided with a transparent substrate with concaves and convexes formed on the top face, a transparent electrode layer formed on the top face of the transparent substrate, a hole conductive organic EL layer formed on the transparent electrode layer, an electron conductive organic EL layer formed on the hole conductive organic EL layer, and a cathode electrode layer formed on the electron conductive organic EL layer. Outside luminous efficiency and field angle can be increased without deterioration of picture quality by having leakage light generated through forming concaves and convexes of optical crystal on the transparent substrate. Further, since effective refractive index at optical crystal indicates a value between the transparent substrate 10 and the transparent electrode layer 20, an effect similar to the case of reflection-free coating is realized, and increase of transmittance due to this is also generated simultaneously.
