The foot for the seat comprises a body with an added L-shaped steel reinforcing piece (4) housed inside it. A closing cover is placed on the body after placing the reinforcing piece. The reinforcing piece comprises a Z-shaped principal part (41) similar to the body. This principal part has smooth holes (44) which align with body fixing holes and holes (45) with the same placing as body pins. Holes (46) in the upper part are opposite the body holes when the reinforcing piece is placed to allow passage of the seat chassis tubes.
