PURPOSE: A method for preparing a ceramic binder is provided to give a ceramic binder, which has good appearance and excellent shelf stability, and is capable of being cured at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: (A) (i) adding a mixture containing a silane compound of the formula of SiR4 and a silane compound of the formula of R1Si(R2)3 to colloidal sol and stirring them to modify the colloidal sol; (ii) adding an organic polar solvent thereto; and (iii) adding a silane compound of the formula of Si(R3)2(R4)2 thereto and stirring them to form a ceramic binder; (B) in a separate container, adding 100 parts by weight of a silane-based mixture containing a silane compound of formula R1Si(R2)3 and a silane compound of formula of Si(R3)2(R4)2, 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of organic titanates and 10-30 parts by weight of an organic polar solvent, and stirring them to form a curing agent; and (C) mixing the ceramic binder with the curing agent, wherein each of R and R4 is methoxy or ethoxy, R1 is methyl, ethyl, phenyl, beta-3,4-ethoxycyclohexyl, gamma-glycidyloxypropyl, gamma-mercaptopropyl, gamma-methacryloxypropyl or gamma-aminopropyl, R2 is methoxy or ethoxy, and R3 is methyl, ethyl or phenyl.
