SAFETY VALVE FOR PRESSURE CONTAINER

PURPOSE: A safety valve of a pressure container is provided to improve safety by automatically discharging pressure with bending the packing and opening the passage in increasing internal pressure over the reference value. CONSTITUTION: A mount cap(1) is combined with the upper part of a pressure container, and fixing and expanding parts are stepped in an assembling part(1a) of the mount cap. The outside of a packing(5) is pressed and fixed between the fixing part of the mount cap and the upper part of a valve housing(2), and a space part is formed in the expanding part to bend the packing up. Plural protrusions are formed in a protruded part of a stem(3), and discharge passages are formed between protrusions to discharge pressure in bending the packing against overpressure. The upper part of the mount cap is spaced from the protruded part of the stem. The pressure container is used safely by automatically discharging pressure with bending the packing in increasing the internal pressure.
