The valve comprises a body (1), in which there is a circulation path (2), and a transverse housing (3) secant to the track in which there is a sliding valve (4) having an opening (5) and a solid part. The valve part provided with the opening penetrates, during valve closing, into a downstream watertight housing section (3b) held under a gas pressure greater than that of the transport fluid in the circulation path. In this way, during passage of the valve from the open to the closed position the pressurized gas can flow back into the circulation path to hold the product in it.
