PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge type strain clamp which allows reducing stress applied to the bending part of an electric wire. SOLUTION: The wedge type strain clamp fixes an electric wire by catching the electric wire inserted into a wedge body insertion part of a clamp body connected to an electric pole side with a wedge body inserted into the wedge body insertion part. An angle is formed between the extending direction of the electric wire when the clamp body strains the electric wire and the axis direction of the wedge insertion part at 20 deg. to 50 deg..
