PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily attachable/detachable to/from a gas cylinder, to prevent the outward deformation of the fitting part of a hood and to prevent the damage of an operation wire. SOLUTION: Screw parts 16a and 31a which are mutually screwed are disposed in the main body 1 of a smoke applying tester and a gas cylinder 30, and they are screw-connected. Since a band 25 is inserted into the band groove 24 of a hood fitting part 21 and is fastened and fixed, the fitting part 21 is prevented from being deformed outward even if pressure force is applied to the hood 20. Since a wire insertion hole 12 is formed of a softer material, the operation wire 11 is not damaged.
