PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer peripheral equipment system capable of renewing, by easy operation of an end user, rewritable control programs respectively mounted on a computer peripheral device and an IF converter which executes I/F conversion between a computer and the computer peripheral device. SOLUTION: Both the control program for the PC peripheral device 2 and the control program for the I/F converter 1 are written in a memory 22 of the PC peripheral device 2 by one control program renewing tool 33 on a PC 3. A loader program 13 of the I/F converter 1 compares version information on the control program for the I/F converter written in the memory 22 at each starting time, with version information on the control program 10 on a memory 12, and acquires the control program for the I/F converter from the memory 22 when these pieces of information are different, and writes the program in an area of the control program 10 in the memory 12.
