WATER-SOLUBLE ANTICORROSIVE PAINT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A water-soluble anticorrosive paint composition is provided, to improve the adhesive strength to metal materials, thereby enhancing anticorrosive property and durability. CONSTITUTION: The paint composition comprises 12-20 wt% of a water-soluble acryl emulsion resin as an acryl resin; 10-25 wt% of an extender pigment and 2-5 wt% of an anticorrosive pigment as a pigment component; a dispersant; an antifoaming agent; a neutralizing agent; a leveling agent; a curing accelerator; a thickener; an antifreezing agent; an ion exchange water; and 0.1-1.0 wt% of a flash rust inhibitor. Preferably the water-soluble acryl emulsion resin has an average particle size of 80 nm or less and has a glass transition temperature of 30-40 deg.C; the extender pigment is at least one selected from the group consisting of CaCO3, Al2O3·SiO3 and MgO·SiO2; the anticorrosive pigment is strontium chromate, zinc phosphate or their mixture; and the flash rust inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of sodium nitrate, sodium benzoate and ammonium dichromate. Preferably the ratio of the acryl resin to the pigment component is 1 : 0.8-2.0 by weight.
