PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high molecular fuel cell of high output and superior durability by providing a method of easily and efficiently manufacturing a porous, conductive and water-repellent gas diffusion electrode of high durability for the solid high molecular fuel cell. SOLUTION: This gas diffusion electrode adjacent to an ion exchange film is manufactured by using a coating liquid composed of dispersion liquid including a catalyst and a fluorine-containing ion exchange resin, further including at least one of alcohol, ether, dialkylsulfoxide and water as a dispersion medium, and including 30 vol.% or more of particles of 1.0 μm or less in a distribution of grain size. |
