SENTENCE CUTTING METHOD, SENTENCE CUTTING PROCESSING UNIT USING THIS METHOD, MACHINE TRANSLATION DEVICE AND PROGRAM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly accurate sentence cutting processing by estimating a part of speech of a word in a sentence being a processing object in the sen tence cutting processing in natural language processing. SOLUTION: The sentence cutting processing is executed on the sentence being the processing object by using dictionary information, and when being unable to determine whether or not the sentence must be cut in the sentence cutting processing using this dictionary information, a part of speech of the word for constituting this sentence is estimated, and the sentence cutting processing is further executed on the basis of the estimation result.
