PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the height of the back of a disk motor. SOLUTION: The central cylindrical part 80a of a turntable 80 is press-fitted to the upper end side of a spindle 62, and the turntable 80 is fixed. The underside of the turntable 80 has an annular recessed stepped part 80b. The flange portion 63c of a rotor yoke 63 at its upper end is fitted into the recessed stepped part 80b of the underside of the turntable 80, and the rotor yoke 63 is positioned, spot-welded and is fixed.
