PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser oscillator which outputs stable and accurate output laser light regardless of a change in supply voltage. SOLUTION: The laser oscillator comprises an irradiation command section which determines the timing of irradiating output laser light, a slope calculating section which calculates a rising slope from an off- to an on-state of an output signal of a current value setting section which outputs a current value signal set in advance by an output signal of the irradiation command section, and then changes the calculated slope and outputs it, a current detecting section for detecting the output current from a switching power supply section, and a comparison and control section which compares the output signals of the current detecting section and the slope calculating section. The output signal of the comparison and control section is inputted into the switching power supply section and then is fed back to the comparison and control section for feedback control.
