PURPOSE: An architectural vegetation island for landscape architecture is provided to heighten the effect of landscape architecture, to prevent the overflow of water to vegetation soil and to discharge rainwater rapidly. CONSTITUTION: The architectural vegetation island for landscape architecture comprises: many primary floating bodies(10) whose tops are exposed to the surface of the water; a bottom supporter(20) fixed on the upper part of the primary floating bodies(10) to support vegetation soil(70); a side frame fixed on the edge of the bottom supporter(20) and provided with a secondary floating body(40); a synthetic sheet(50) installed on the upper side of the bottom supporter(20); many moisture-absorbers(60), whose one ends are submerged through holes formed on the synthetic sheet(50) and the other end is located on the upper side of the synthetic sheet(50), provided with many capillary gaps to suck in water of a lake or a pond; woven fabrics(55) spreading the water absorbed to vegetation soil(70); and vegetation soil(70) installed on the upper side of the woven fabrics(55) to plant terrestrial plants.
