PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that no communication can be made between terminals different in input/output format of messages. SOLUTION: A mediate server 60 for mediating transmission/reception of messages between an originating terminal 10 and a terminating terminal 30 comprises a transceiver 62 for receiving a message from a caller in at least either text format or voice format, a detector 64 for detecting the format of the message in which a called party can output the message, and a converter 50 for converting the format of the message, if the format of the received message is different from the detected format. The transceiver 62 transmits the message in the detected format. |
