<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPLS packet statistical method (apparatus) which can provide combined statistics of the traffic by user and of the areas each user conducts traffic in an MPLS-VPN packet transfer network. SOLUTION: The MPLS packet statistic processing apparatus includes; label extract means 2, 3 for extracting a transfer label and a VPN identification label from a PPP frame of a received MPLS-VPN packet; a count means 4 for counting the number of packets and the octet number of packets for each combination of the transfer label and the VPN identification label extracted; and a matrix creating means 4 for creating a matrix of each combination of the transfer label and the VPN identification label on the basis of the counted packet number and packet octet number.</p> |
