PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a circuit for performing a wind comparator operation in a simple constitution at a low cost. SOLUTION: Resistors R1, R2 are connected in series between a signal input terminal for inputting an input signal Vin and a ground potential. An NPN transistor Q1 has a base terminal connected to the signal input terminal, an emitter terminal connected to the ground potential through a resistor R3, and a collector terminal connected to a reference potential through a resistor R4. It inversely amplifies the input signal Vin inputted to the base terminal and outputs it from the output terminal. The resistors R1, R2 divide the input signal Vin to a voltage V2 which is then inputted to an input terminal 2 of a voltage comparator CP1, and the input signal Vin is applied to the base terminal of the NPN transistor Q1 to output an inversely amplified voltage V1 from the collector terminal of the NPN transistor Q1 to an input terminal 1 of the voltage comparator CP1 to obtain an output signal from an output terminal 3 of the comparator CP1.
