PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a crystal oscillator. SOLUTION: An injection hole 20 for injecting an underfil material 12 for protecting an IC chip 8 is made on the bottom surface of a circuit container 7, to which the chip 8 is connected, and the material 12 is injected using the hole 20. With this constitution, since there is no need to inject a protective material from an upper aperture of the IC chip 8, the inside diameter dimension of the container 7, to which the chip 8 is connected, can be miniaturized to dimensions which are almost equal to the outer dimension of the chip 8.
